What happened to you Hot Topic? There was a time when I was young and impressionable, and making it into the middle of your store unscathed was a triumph. Oh, how embarrassing all this is for both of us. I mean, I bought stuff in you. Granted I was like… 13, but still. I called you my friend and now look at you. Look what you’ve done to yourself. Look what you’ve done to the upcoming teen generation. You’re the laughing stock of the mall and I am so disappointed in you.
For the record, I unfortunately found myself in a Hot Topic yesterday. My friend needed some nose jewlery or something. Anyway, there was a whole chunk of the store devoted to TMNT that I couldn’t bring myself to get anywhere near. Don’t get me wrong, I love my turtles, but there are some things in life you’re better off not knowing about. Thank goodness I was not confronted with the snuggie then and there or I’d probably be in jail today. You know, rage blackout.
