Really, Twilight? This Is Where It’s Going? Really?

Ok, I must be completely honest. I’ve never read, watched or given any attention to Twilight. I mean, I totally get it. Handsome vampire boy dates human girl, they fall in love, drama with other vampires, danger, high school, I get it. But when I’m feeling a little blood lust I turn to The Lost Boys, Interview With The Vampire and True Blood.
Then again, I’m not 14.
And while it’s been a little while since I was 14 and since I became incredibly intolerant of all things high school and MTV, I still trust that I would have never sank to the lowest levels of low that is not the Twilight motion comic, but the Twilight’s Stephanie Meyer (the author) motion comic.
Guh! What the fuck is that? Is our youth in constant need of attention and entertainment that one more New Moon trailer just isn’t enough? Are they really so obsessed that tracing the author’s roots back to that time she moved when she was 4 years old will keep the fans at bay? Did someone take an entire generation and drop them on their heads simultaneously? Because this…this out lames everything to the point that it’s creepy. Seriously kids, stalking Robert Pattinson makes more sense than endorsing this bull crap. Go find his trailer now and be free!
You’re dead to me, MTV. Next time some asks about you or mentions your name, I will respond “I have no MTV.”
