Superhero Padlocks

Man, I could have seriously used a helping hand from the Justice League back in the days of school lockers. In my sophomore year I had this rogue padlock… Man, this lock was a total bitch and it loved to fight me, though the crack of the high school authority whip never gave me the time between class to. What a cheap win, lock. Seriously. Anyway, one lunch period, hungry and determined, I fought it. I fought it for 15 minutes before I finally cracked that sucker off and chucked it down the hallway screaming vulgarities after it. Just then, the gatekeeper of detention herself stepped out of the ladies room only to overhear me yelling “you stupid fuck!” at an inanimate object (an inanimate object with a vengeance). I still to this day don’t know how I talked myself out of that one.
I was unable to trust padlocks after this incident and well, maybe things would have been different if Batman was on my side. That is all.
