Bedfan – Really?

Whenever you’re feeling too warm to sleep, just switch on the Bedfan®. This quiet, low voltage fan stands at the foot of your bed and channels a cooling breeze under your covers, pushing warm air out, so you sleep cooler. Convenient speed control can be kept nearby to adjust the Bedfan’s airflow. The Bedfan® can be used on just one side of the bed, accommodating couples with different temperature needs. Saves on air conditioning costs, too; the Bedfan® uses less than 8 watts of electricity.
Wow.
Do you know what I do when it’s too hot to sleep under my covers? I don’t sleep under my covers. I don’t even know what’s more annoying: that it’s a fan for your sheets or that the consumer who is dumb enough to buy a Bedfan would probably have another fan running in the same room, simultaneously with the Bedfan. Do you know what else is really useful? Outdoor fans in the winter.
The Bedfan is available from Improvements for $79.99. Just for the record, buying a Bedfan automatically makes you a raging asshole.
