Phone Chips – Literally

A Wisconsin woman was surprised when she discovered a cell phone in her bag of Clancy’s Ripple Potato Chips. Either someone in the chip factory was talking on their phone where they shouldn’t be or cereal isn’t the only packaged food to include prizes. Needless to say, it wasn’t a pleasant surprise and her local grocery story has since pulled all bags of the same brand and expiration as this winner’s which may or may not be a relief to local customers (depending if they too need a phone or not).
You know, there’s a lot of things that I would be disappointed to find in a bag of potato chips including (but not limited to) any form of bug/rodent, appendages, hypodermic needles and underwear. I never thought I’d be adding used cell phones to that list but such is life.
