In Russia, Picture Takes You
By nikkita | January 30, 2009

It’s hard to picture the events our old buildings have witnessed in the past. My house alone has been standing since 1851 (which is nothing in comparison to Europe, or course), but I’m guessing I’m not the strangest resident that has inhabited it. While Russian may not be the same place it was during it’s revolution and World War II, there’s something to be said for Sergei Larenkov’s photographs comparing a very old city in modern times. I can’t even imagine what headache it must have been to get the camera lined up just right. Seriously impressive.
