Temperature Sweater – Really?
By nikkita | October 13, 2008

The Temperature Sweater by Generate Design is an easy-on-the-eyes fleece sweater that sports a digital display on each sleeve. One in Fahrenheit, the other in Celsius.
…
Really? Is that… is that really necessary? What use is knowing the temperature when you’re already wearing a sweater? I mean, I thought we checked the weather to see if we needed to bring a sweater, not to figure out when we should take it off. Now, a temperature display on the sleeves of a coat would make more sense. A coat is the warmest you’re going to get, so from there on it’s just about fulfilling your curiosity or providing evidence for a survival story later on.
