Groom Should Have Just Played Hooky…

Japanese groom-to-be decided he wanted out of his wedding and thought he’d settle the situation by torching the hotel it was to be held at. Guests were evacuated and luckily nobody was for hurt. As for the groom? Well, he’s an idiot.
Tatsuhiko Kawata, 39, had gone along with wedding plans despite already having a wife, the Yomiuri newspaper said.
“I thought if I set a fire I wouldn’t have to go through with the wedding,” the Yomiuri quoted him as telling police.
Dude, I have a whole list of excuses you could use to get out of a wedding, none of which include the act of setting the freakin’ hotel on fire.
But hey, at least it didn’t end November Rain style, though Slash wailing on the guitar outside of a deserted church, even a burning hotel for that matter, would’ve been really awesome. And yes, that was just a clever segue to include the November Rain video. You are freakin’ welcome!
