Manhole Ginza – The Manhole Infested Street Of Tokyo
By nikkita | October 21, 2008

Known as “Manhole Ginza”, this residential street in Setagaya, Tokyo tallies up 85 manholes in a 200-meter stretch of pavement. Why there’d ever be a need for that many manholes in such a small space is beyond me, especially since they seemed to be placed so randomly.
I originally wanted to name this post “Manhole Bonanza” but quickly realized that maybe that wasn’t such a good idea. Hell, I love traffic, but I’d probably be leaving a lot of “bears” very disappointed. And you know me, I just want to keep all forms of bears happy.
