Octopus – The Master Escapist
By nikkita | July 15, 2008
How smart is an octopus? Much smarter than you may think. While recently researchers seem to be having lots of fun with these swimming brains with 8 tentacles and through maze and problem-solving experiments it’s becoming apparent that the octopus has both a short and long term memory. That will probably come in handy with those rubick’s cubes. Also, it seems as though the octopus is exceptionally squishy (yes, “squishy” is a sophisticated scientific term). Just watch it escape from this box through a 1-inch hole. Yeah, tell me that’s not squishy, I dare you.
