Bacon Floss?

While I may love bacon, I feel for all who find it to be grotesque since there seems to be a great popularity in bacon fashioned items. Hell, I don’t even get it. But somewhere between all the bacon styled scarves, wallets and you name it, the bacon floss (for lack of a better word) happened.
Maybe someone can explain this to me because I find it a bit counterproductive. I do enjoy bacon immensely. However, as much as I love brushing my teeth (and I really do), I hate flossing. Probably for the same reasons as I hate the dentist. So why would I risk losing my affections for bacon by combining it with something that I despise?
Now for the grossness factor: UGH. Toothpaste/floss is mint flavored for a reason.
