Twine Tables Looks Like Buttons
By nikkita | March 28, 2008

Buttons are an oldy but a goody. According to the always legitimate Wikipedia, buttons have been around since 2800 bc, while zippers didn’t zip up until 1851 ad. Pfft! Pay tribute to our favorite thing that holds us together (and I don’t mean love) with these Twine Tables.
“A set of tables inspired by one of the oldest ways of attaching one object to another – with a needle and thread. The wire is twined through the table top, and becomes legs as well as upholding construction.”
There are certain inanimate objects that I feel affection for. Buttons happens to be one. Whenever I lose one, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with sadness, not just because my clothes are incomplete, but that poor button is lost somewhere. And he must be so scared…excuse me, I’m going to go cry to The Brave Little Toaster now.
