Power Strips Keep Getting Better
By nikkita | March 2, 2008

I’d be one hell of a broken record if I were to mention yet again how obnoxiously non-user friendly the average power strip is and just how refreshing it is to see new designs to eliminate the mess and make use of all my outlets. Just the other day I was digging around tangling and untangling chords, trying to make them fit in my old school strip. This… electric creature puts all of my efforts to shame.
The Tributaries T12 currently holds my given title of “mother of all power strips” for its super skills of pluggage and organization. There are four stationary ports which is traditional and boring, but mildly convenient, but it’s the other eight ports that makes thing interesting. With the ability to rotate the eight side ports you can arrange all your brick like adapters in order to make best use of your plugging realestate. It doesn’t end there. There is also room for your coaxial cable, network cable, and even the phone line. Now that’d convenient.
Man, this thing could totally devour my power strip leaving me with one question. Trib, where the hell were you last weekend? Huh?! HUH!?
…I really needed you (sad face).
Check out the skinny trib here.
